Dan has 14 years of experience working within Family Law. He began in the Clerks Room of 4 Paper Buildings in 2007 before joining the Principal Registry of the Family Division, now the Central Family Court. Working alongside barristers and judiciary provided Dan with a birds eye view of the Family Law spectrum and this very relevant experience has been invaluable since joining LMP in 2016.
Encouraged by the firm’s track record of supporting administrative staff to gain legal qualifications, Dan began his CILEx legal studies in 2017 which will lead to his qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive. He has already succeeded in achieving Associate Member of CILEx status and he is on course to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer by 2023.

The transition from clerk to paralegal has been a natural progression which has been accelerated as a result of the digital reforms within the court system. Dan has his finger on the pulse of all things HMCTS and is on hand to ensure that clients’ online legal procedures are managed smoothly and effectively.
