Congratulations to Simon Pigott who has been shortlisted in the ‘Lawyer of the Year – Family’ category in the Spear’s Awards 2025. This is the second time Simon has been successfully nominated; he also made the shortlist for 2023.
The shortlist has identified seven specialists who have met the category criteria of being a “family lawyer that has provided outstanding service” You can view the full shortlist on the announcement video published on the Spear’s LinkedIn page here.
Simon was nominated by his fellow LMP partners in recognition of his role as a founding partner of the firm and in celebration of the vision, honed in the firm’s early years and with partners Jeremy Levison and Alison Hayes. That vision, which was formed in the belief that there should be a more innovative and personal approach to servicing the needs of wealthy families requiring tailored family law advice, still rings true today. In 1998, Simon was a pioneer. He is now a well-respected leader of a bespoke family law practice which continues to thrive under his and his partners’ direction. As the Spear’s 500 highlights when describing Simon’s founding ethos: “It’s the sort of plain-speaking wisdom that has differentiated Pigott’s firm from much of the competition.”
The Spear’s Awards has been celebrating the outstanding contributions of wealth managers, lawyers and service providers to (U)HNW individuals for over a decade. The winners for 2025 will be announced at a ceremony on the 20th November.
