“We are delighted that Emma has chosen to further her career as a family law specialist and has joined our close-knit team. LMP remains committed to being a boutique family law firm and so the partners recognise how important recruitment at Emma’s level is to the future of the firm. If selected wisely, and we take this very seriously, today’s legal recruits, will potentially be the LMP partners of tomorrow. To this end, we wish Emma a very long and successful career with LMP.”

Lucy Hoare, promoted to partner at LMP, effective from 1st April 2026.

Levison Meltzer Pigott Managing Partner, Simon Pigott, congratulated Lucy on her promotion.

“I am delighted to welcome Lucy to the LMP partnership. It is always rewarding to watch young lawyers, such as Lucy, grow in confidence and experience ready to step up to the responsibilities and challenges of being a partner. We are thrilled that ten years post-qualification, Lucy is now an LMP partner and we look forward to working with her and making the most of the opportunities, in the years to come.”

Jeremy Levison, who founded the firm in 1998 with Simon, agreed:

“One of the key premises of the continued success of LMP has been to identify young lawyers who will become the partners of the future.  From the day she joined, it was clear that Lucy was indeed on that partnership track and we are very pleased indeed to call her a partner.”

Lucy Hoare was happy to respond:
“I am so pleased to be joining the partnership at LMP and to play a role in shaping the firm’s future. I look forward to continuing to embrace the firm’s founding principles, most notably a strong focus on client care, whilst working alongside a supportive and collaborative team of excellent lawyers. I am looking forward to being an LMP partner and all it entails.”

As of the 1st April 2026, with Lucy’s promotion, there are now six full-time partners at LMP.
