LMP supports Good Divorce Week 2022

The team at Levison Meltzer Pigott is proud to support Good Divorce Week 2022.  Resolution’s campaign, running from 28 November – 2 December, aims to highlight the crisis in family courts and raise awareness of all the different ways families can resolve their disputes away from the Court – where it is safe and appropriate to do so.

As specialist family lawyers, the LMP team understands that family disputes, whether in relation to divorce, separation, finances or children, can be upsetting and difficult. We also understand that whilst in some cases unavoidable, litigating in Court should be a last resort.

To show our support for Resolution’s campaign throughout this week, the LMP team will be sharing advice about out of Court options for the resolution of family disputes including mediation, arbitration, a collaborative approach and solicitor-led negotiations.

Kate Stovold, Partner, comments:

“Resolution adopts a constructive approach to family issues with a focus on alternative dispute resolution.  This week’s campaign provides considerable advice and support, with headlines and highlights for families and practitioners alike to digest.  At LMP, we are pleased to support Good Divorce Week 2022 and hope the campaign brings about positive changes and greater understanding of non-Court options for dispute resolution.”
