Co-parenting on separation – Kate Stovold writes for Vantage Point

LMP Partner, Kate Stovold, continues to write for Vantage Point, the community magazine in Farnham, Surrey. The focus of this latest article is co-parenting on separation

Kate recognises that the breakdown of a relationship has many consequences, including financial and emotional. Children can often be caught in the cross fire but it is important to shield them from the animosity as much as possible.

Kate says this: “I am pleased to again share my expertise in my home community and hope that my article provides support to families in need. Managing a strained family dynamic from the outset can pave the way for an easier and less turbulent separation. That must always be the aim and as a specialist family law solicitor, it is my goal.”

Joe Colley and Natasha Methven – Two new Solicitors join the LMP team

We welcome Natasha Methven and Joe Colley as the latest additions to the LMP team.

Joe joins from Machins Solicitors LLP where he completed his training contract in 2020. Prior to this, he worked as a corporate paralegal for a prominent regional firm and gained significant experience from various other roles.

Natasha has joined us on the completion of her training contract with Wedlake Bell LLP. Previously she worked as an in-house paralegal with and enjoyed a number of work experience and vacation scheme opportunities with leading London law firms.

Simon Pigott explains why the LMP partners take recruitment at this level so seriously:
“We are delighted that Joe and Natasha have joined us. As a boutique firm, we benefit from being able to both attract and select recently qualified lawyers who have already made a commitment to family law and know they want to be part of a specialist firm.  Recruitment at this level is very important; these recruits are the future of the firm. We wish Natasha and Joe a very long and successful career with LMP.”
